Changelog
Beta 2.0
September 29, 2026
Successfully got the closed beta out to a few testers, thank you to everyone who tested it out and pitched in to help make the app better. Got quite a long way to go but getting my first app in the hands of other people even in this capacity was a super rewarding experience. I'm going to keep chipping away at all the problems and continue working on making this app the greatest fitness app to ever exist. Fun stuff!
Here's everything that changed because of the feedback I got from the first Beta.
Quicker voice logging
Transcription now happens right on your phone, much faster. You can now edit it to your heart's content.
Nothing's set in stone
Logged the wrong set count or the wrong meal? Edit or delete it straight from the food and workout page.
A home screen that says hi
First launch now greets you and shows you where to start, instead of handing you a blank screen and a shrug.
Light mode, finally
Light, dark, or match your system, from the Settings page.
Your own handle
Usernames are in, and Apple Sign In is fixed.
Typed-out preferences
Want stanatomy to remember a preference? Just use the /memory command with a text entry, and it'll be remembered for all future logs.
A little nudge
Turn on a daily reminder and pick your own time. We'll do the reminding.
Status updates for uploads
Every log now shows its status: Uploading, Transcribing, Logged.
Less staring at blank screens
Workout, food, and health pages load in with skeleton placeholders instead of a jarring pop-in.
More consistent food parsing
The same meal now gets logged the same way every time, no more wildly different calorie estimates for the same sandwich.
Also squashed
- Camera no longer crashes when logging a meal photo
- Logs landing on the wrong day when you log late at night, timezones are fixed
Cooking next
- Better overall infrastructure for better data management
- Stronger security, privacy, and encryption under the hood
- A big rehaul of the overall look and feel across the app
